Canadians should be aware of what may be out of control,
Hidden names of young criminals, abortions and those on parole,
Why the Supreme Court said that death with dignity need not be discussed,
If Oregon, Washington and Switzerland have it; why not us?



Why do we have this public attitude of holier than thou?
Pushed by the media, the CBC and can’t cause a row,
Kept in place by Trudeau’s Charter – impossible to change,
Politically correct to a fault and can’t think this is strange.



Subjects they have censored should be shouted out,
Surely there is nothing so sacred that can’t be talked about,
Can’t be mentioned in Parliament, abortions or death with dignity,
If it’s done by the Supreme Court, then it’s an indignity.

Somewhere in Ottawa, there’s a guy writing long legal rules,
We have no referendums so we will obey like a group of fools,
We are not allowed death with dignity as we wait to die,
Wouldn’t dare disobey one of those appointed Supreme Court guys.



Canadians are not expected to do a lot of thinking,
Media moguls and appointed aristocrats do the winking,
Where referendums are banned and can’t even be mentioned,
Don’t you dare think outside the square and maybe cause tensions.



You are just not obedient enough so will you please shut up,
Maybe you should see your doctor and get another checkup,
Without death with dignity, as we obediently wait to die,
And no one has the guts in parliament to ask the reason why.

DEATH IN TRANQUILITY July 12th, 2011

Every Canadian will eventually lie down and die,
Although this subject is strictly avoided and I don’t know why,
And those few on their death beds, don’t have much political clout,
That’s why this subject is strictly avoided and not talked about.



Politicians will jump on a moving band wagon if they can,
If activists talk about it and media moguls lift the ban,
Maybe death with dignity will eventually come our way,
The religious detest this because they want religion to sway.



How do we sell assisted suicide without much of a fuss?
How do we get Canadians to listen and get on this bus?
What can we do to ensure we die in peace and tranquility?
Especially if we are lying in pain and disability?

CHANGE TRUDEAU’S CHARTER July 11th, 2011

Some Canadian should figure out how to change the Charter,
Get death with dignity and referendums, which we’re after,
There must be a politician somewhere that might or will agree,
Or do they all want to be a Senator or High Court appointee?



Because every crook in the land screams for that Charter,
Trying to get a deal in court as their lawyers try to barter,
Why should all this be difficult for Canadians to understand?
But if the Supreme Court get’s involved, this idea may be banned.



If we had binding referendums, the people could decide,
Wouldn’t have to wait forever for appointees to provide,
Even the publication of these ideas may not be allowed,
By our upper echelon hierarchy appointed crowd.

CANADA GONE SOFT July 10th, 2011

We cannot publish the names of young criminals, who commit crimes,
Even if they kill cops, rape, arson or other crimes many times,
We are also holier than thou so nothing is allowed to change,
We have no capital punishment and cannot think of this as strange.



Wardens then give convicted killers a free weekend pass,
As though we the people have to watch this through a looking glass,
As they then fail to inform the tragic victims whose sons were killed,
The system is obviously broken, can’t be fixed and we’re not skilled.



We have no binding referendums or death with dignity,
We cannot change our Charter or look upon this with indignity,
But we have an appointed Senate and appointed Supreme Court,
And this upper echelon is not willing to give us any support.

You can circumvent your painful humiliating death,
By getting on a big Switzerland bound air liner jet,
And arranging with the death-with-dignity guys over there,
Then arrange to have your body sent back and pay the fare.



But if we had binding referendums, we could change things here,
Maybe then we wouldn’t have to wait so long for our death in fear,
But between our politicians and Charter, we can’t change a thing,
And our appointed Supreme Court is worse, so don’t bother to ring.



You are told only what our hierarchy feels you should know,
Media moguls and the CBC will tell you what’s a go,
Because binding referendums are completely banned,
Sorry, but is there something here that you don’t understand?

ELECT HIGH COURT JUDGES July 8th, 2011

Sometimes our Supreme Court seems to have gone off the deep end,
Decisions or lack of decisions that seem to be ‘round the bend,
They turned down death with dignity in the Sue Rodriguez case,
And allowed abortion clinics here and there, right in our face.



And no one seems to know or care about these no-name appointees,
Those who make more laws than parliament by their lofty decrees,
If we had binding referendums, we could change things around,
We could elect our High Court folk in their red Santa Clause gowns.



We could have death with dignity, which these appointees oppose,
Why do they always dress up in their red Santa Clause clothes?
Canadians could finally feel that maybe they own this land,
And not being shortchanged by a politically correct band.
