THE CORRECTIONAL SYSTEM Sept 15th, 2011
By

They switched to the correctional system years ago,
They thought the old penal system was too harsh and too low,
The politically correct crowd thought they had a better way,
Of soft bail and easy parole that criminals would not betray.

Repeat offenders thought the new correctional system was great,
They lived in it and it was softer and easier to manipulate,
Soft judges and social workers and criminals walked out the door,
Where complaining victims and pompous cops were considered a bore.

Correctional system criminal common ground did not work,
You can’t say that though or they might call you a right-wing dork,
Repeat offenders and terrorists have Trudeau’s Charter of Rights,
Appointed Supreme Court judges seem to revel in these delights.

DOCTOR ASSISTED SUICIDE SEPT 14TH, 2011

DOCTOR ASSISTED SUICIDE Sept 14th, 2011
BY

Many of my old friends and companions are out golfing or dead,
Because of this, sometimes I’m concerned about what lies ahead,
Because Canadians can’t sit down and plan how they will die,
Can’t have doctor assisted suicide and I don’t know why.

Most of us came from a completely different and much poorer times,
When ballpoint pens were great and we didn’t have much more than a dime,
Very few of us knew the complicated keyboard way back then,
And near the end of our lives, many of us still write with a pen.

This subject is a graphic illustration of who runs the show,
It isn’t you or me and the politically correct all know,
Sue Rodriguez came down with Lou Gehrig’s disease and they said “No!”,
She couldn’t have suicide and her painful death would be slow.

PROBLEMS WE COULD CHANGE SEPT 13TH, 2011

PROBLEMS WE COULD CHANGE Sept 13th 2011

How do we get recall of stupid incompetent politicians?
Those appointed to hidden committees and odd commissions,
Maybe then we might be allowed to improve our system of laws,
Or change appointed judges dressed up in red like Santa Clause.

No binding referendums and no judicial reviews,
No plebiscites, proportional representation and no excuse,
No death with dignity, set-date elections or questions asked,
Secretly selected High Court judges from the high governor caste.

High aristocrat bureaucrats behind every appointment,
Not allowed to show that there might be disappointment
We need a justice system compelled to send criminals to jail
Getting criminal panhandlers and drunks off the street with no bail

It seems to me that our appointed Supreme Court should be elected,
Much more democratic than those unknowns secretly selected,
Their abortion clinic decision caused baby killing machines
What questions, what numbers, whose dead babies and what teens?

WE NEED TO CHANGE THINGS SEPT 11TH, 2011

WE NEED TO CHANGE THINGS Sept 11th, 2011

They always blame the low voter turnout on the other guy,
Those other party politicians whom they claim are full of lies,
And when the turnout drops to two percent, they’ll celebrate,
There will be no need for them to even enumerate.

Because bureaucrats rule Canada and they like it that way,
Politicians get elected but have very little to say,
One of the reasons we will never have binding referendums,
Or a death with dignity and euthanasia memorandums.

Where big decisions are now left to the appointed Supreme Court,
Because our politicians are afraid they don’t have the support,
Politicians can’t change Trudeau’s sacred left-wing Charter,
Written for EVERYONE including a terrorist martyr.

LET'S CHANGE THE CHARTER SEPT 10TH, 2011

LET’S CHANGE THE CHARTER Sept 10th, 2011

If we change Trudeau’s Charter of Rights, what should we add?
Appointed senators and Supreme Court judges is quite sad,
So binding referendums and propositions should be in,
Where euthanasia and death with dignity is not a sin.

The Charter should be only for Canadians – not the world,
And certainly not alien criminals in the underworld,
A Charter for Canadians with legal equalization,
Compulsory voting and lots of fast criminal deportation.

Where politicians with recall make decisions – not bureaucrats,
We are not an autocracy ruled by elitist aristocrats,
Term limits and set date elections imposed every four years,
Not when they want them and manipulate their phony tears.

DEATH WITH DIGNITY SEPT 9TH, 2011

DEATH WITH DIGNITY Sept 9th, 2011
By

No matter what you do, you can’t avoid your upcoming death,
But in Switzerland they can rearrange when to take their last breath,
Because they have death with dignity which we are not allowed,
They also have binding referendums and they should feel proud.

Suicide is against the law unless of course the law is changed,
But not much chance here and death with dignity can’t be arranged,
The assisted suicide issue is not spoken so we can’t disobey,
Though they do have it in the State of Oregon in the USA.

We need assisted suicide and death with dignity laws,
And fix the lack of binding referendum and get some applause,
We need a politician or two who can actually decide,
And not have to wait years for a busy bureaucrat to provide.

FIX THE SYSTEM Sept 8th, 2011

Why are we denied so much good democratic stuff?
Did some high up politician or appointee say we had enough?
Why can't we have binding referendums like the Swiss?
Can I even ask questions like this or am I being remiss?

Should I apologize for thinking that we should have propositions?
Would the appointed judges look at me with some suspicions?
Could we have proportional representation and a plebiscite?
Is that thinking too far over in the plight of the right?

Could we have set-date elections or is that against some rule?
Every four years or would they consider that to be too cruel?
Should senators, judges and Governor Generals be elected?
Could it come to pass that our system might be corrected?
