LESS THAN HALF CANADIANS VOTE DEC 14TH 2011

LESS THAN HALF CANADIANS VOTE Dec 14th, 2011
By
Why do less than half Canadians even bother to vote?
Is it because our appointed aristocrats have us by the throat?
The Supreme Court decides what the government can or cannot do,
Therefore our elected politicians are stymied and don’t have a clue.

And we can’t elect or pick any of our Supreme Court folk,
They are secretly chosen from a secret list hidden in smoke,
They wear Santa Clause gowns in a big building very far away,
They rule this land and politicians don’t have much of a say.

Why is it that most Canadians don’t know about this?
Why are we forbidden binding referendums like the
Swiss?
Why did they insist on abortion clinics on every street?
Why denied government to close Insite clinic in defeat?

Because noisy politicians are powerless and remote,
And we cannot even vote for our primeminister by name,
As we vote for a party person which is not the same.

Stephen Harper Dec 13th, 2011

I think Stephen Harper is probably doing a good job,
Trying to restrain the left-wing environmentalist mob,
He hasn’t made voting mandatory yet and this is a concern,
Appointing judges from a secret list that we can’t discern.

Stephen Harper: some say that you are a Liberal in disguise,
Please bring in compulsory voting and assisted suicide,
Elected Supreme Court judges and Governor General please,
Because after that, you’re elected for life in a breeze.

So Stephen please; get death-with-dignity before its too late,
I know the religious nut cases may be worked up and irate,
But there are others, many others, who would be very pleased,
It is likely though that the Liberals would be displeased.

PUBLICATION BANS DEC 12TH, 2011

PUBLICATION BANS Dec 12th, 2011
By

Why are so many court cases under a publication ban?
Are their criminal issues too sacred for an ordinary man?
What could be so high and mighty that the public can’t know?
Are we all so subservient, obedient, stupid and slow?

Is it because they might be pedophile priests or lawyers or worse?
Why do we have such a secretive criminal justice system curse?
Or why are some criminals protected from publicity?
Could it be political correctness and ethnicity?

Was Trudeau’s Charter of Rights written for us or written for them?
Are we forbidden to hear evidence because then we might condemn?
And why are we blinded and accept it all without consent?
Does something need to change so these bans, we can prevent?

No More Ruling Fools Dec 11th, 2011

By

Stephen Harper: please don’t be a left-wing Liberal in disguise,
There’s a Liberal-like scandal waiting in the wings as that implies,
Keep our guys in check in this political ballgame
No matter who those left-wing correspondence try to blame.

Then try for death with dignity and compulsory votes for all,
Show them that the Conservatives are good and can play hardball,
As a majority government we should pull things off,
While the Liberal commentators sit around and scoff.

Get control of our mouthy MPs and tell them where we are going,
Party discipline is in and no more easygoing
or slowing,
Canadians need binding referendums instead of ruling fools,
And we the people should be the Canadians who rule.

REFUGEES 21 DEC 10TH, 2011

REFUGEES 21 Dec 10th, 2011
by

It seems like half the world’s crooks want to claim refugee status here,
And they’re all accepted by our social workers without fear,
They quickly arrive in court or prison but no one seems to care,
As they all claim Charter Rights and human rights and we are unaware.

The curse of Trudeau’s Charter of Rights comes back to haunt us often,
And the few who have read it long ago, have long ago forgotten,
The politically correct of course still think it’s great,
Though it can’t be changed or cancelled and no need for a debate.

We need some proper leadership to get us out of this mess,
Plus binding referendums to stop the righteously obsessed,
Set-date elections, compulsory vote and elected High Court,
Then get death with dignity and political support.

AN OLD GUY Dec 9th, 2011

By

Sometimes I see an old guy I knew and should still know,
But then I realize he died at least fifty years ago,
And only then I realize I must be getting very old,
And wish I could go back again and do it all twice as bold.

Where priests and bishops ruled the roost and nobody really knew,
Where single virgins were a dime a dozen and sex was taboo,
Where mass on Sunday and Friday devotions were compulsory,
Pompous priestly confessions once a week and no adultery.

My memories are sometimes stuck in the year nineteen fifty two,
It’s highly likely that year doesn’t mean too much to you,
In the old back lanes of Ennis where being poor was not new,
Before they sent me to Canada and I said adieu.

I know, I know, that was over sixty years and long ago,
When we were all poor and no one had heard of the euro,
Even today, I’m reluctant to say that such a place existed,
No one would believe me and say I must be twisted.

CAN'T CHANGE NOTHING DEC 8TH, 2011

CAN’T CHANGE NOTHING Dec 8th, 2011

By

It was our Supreme Court that gave us abortion clinic killings,
Maybe even on your street, hidden inside some buildings,
Supreme Court decisions that cannot be changed or denied,
Allowed to murder unborn babies who should have survived.

Our Supreme Court judges appointed from a very secret list,
We can’t vote for them and we’re not even allowed to assist,
Same crowd that allowed the West Coast drug-addict Insite clinic,
To do illegal drugs with free needles and you can’t be a cynic.

Between the abortion and the Insite clinics, we’re in a mess,
But they’re politically correct in Santa Clause dress,
Because High Court judges are immune from critique or change,
We are compelled to obey and we’re forbidden to rearrange.
