GETTING CLOSER TO YOUR DEATH … AUG 31ST, 2013

The problem becomes more apparent as you get closer to your death,

With age, and pain, and stress and anxiety and the shortage of breath,

But the preachers on the pulpits say that everything is okay,

You wouldn’t want you to commit a mortal sin or go astray.

Death-with-dignity will eventually be the painless way to go,
Especially in our health plan where it will not cost much dough,
But how do we get our politicians to pay attention now? 
Because neither those elected or appointed will allow.

If you are at death’s door; it may cause a certain anxiety,

But our Senate has their own ideas hidden in high society,

They want nothing to change, so no referendums please.

No death-with-dignity for you, no matter what your disease.
