DWD IN THIS GREAT LAND … OCT 15TH, 2013
Is there some holy league opposed to assisted suicide?
Are they and their Ottawa politicians secretly allied?
Is that why death with dignity is both forbidden and banned?
Though it’s time for these rules and laws to be changed in this great land.
The Supreme Court is also on their side so you better behave,
Otherwise you could find yourself in jail or living in a cave,
This is not discussed or even on any political agenda,
Except Quebec where Premier Pauline has it on her memoranda.
It’s in all the papers, in every magazine but can’t be discussed,
No federal political talk and no one can feel disgust,
It’s only death with dignity but why is there such a fuss?
Politicians in Ottawa should sit down and discuss.
