They gave us our extortionate Goods and Services Tax on cue,
Their appointed Senate cannot be changed by you so just shut up,
You would be better off to spend more time at your golf club.
We have no influence or input into high matters like this,
So much for democracy which we don't seem to complain or miss,
Senate changes are not forthcoming because they don't have the time,
No one has ever complained so everything must be fine.
And death with dignity is not mentioned anywhere up there,
No such thing as set-date elections, so appointees don't care?
And proportional representation is never mentioned,
Senators can stay there till they are really old and pensioned.
