Death was not mentioned in the Charter of Rights that Trudeau wrote.
So less than half Canadians don’t even bother to vote,
Nor were binding referendums mentioned so there’s no need to think,
Our appointed and pompous Supreme Court is the missing link.
They told Sue Rodreguez that assisted suicide was out,
As she slowly died with painful Lou Gehrig’s disease amid lots of doubt,
But they also said that death by abortion clinics was a go,
And banned the government from closing Insite clinic -- just said no,
Our politically correct problems are now those who live in tents,
No proportional representation and nothing makes sense,
No elected governor generals or senators allowed,
A country run by aristocrat appointees up in the clouds.
