WHAT’S WRONG Nov 30^th, 2011

If the Swiss have referendums and death with dignity; why not us?

Why is it that none of our Ottawa politicians make a fuss?

Is there an independent politician anywhere in this stuff?

Was the Supreme Court Insite clinic decision enough?

But as we watch the passing parade of judges and politicians,

And we are compelled to abide by strange laid down conditions,

As though there was some invisible silent hand pulling a string,

Who are they, what are they, what will they bring and will it sting?

Should we the people run the country or the Supreme Court?

The Insite clinic decision was an example that we need support,

Binding referendums would show what the people want and need,

Instead we get Human Rights crowds who seem to be in the lead.

Because powerful organized groups all have their own agendas,

Each political party pushing out their own propaganda,

We have been told that there’s no need to think because they know all,

There will be no compulsory voting and no recall.

If I was primeminister, this is what I would change and arrange,

Compulsory voting for Canadians, though this may seem strange,

Assisted suicide and binding referendums for us,

To help Canadians when we want to change or kick up a fuss.
