The Supreme Court of Canada has finally changed their ways,
And gave us death with dignity after many delays
Many with painful health; at death’s door, are pleased,
It finally happened and the painful death pressure has eased.
Did the people finally score despite our legal system ways?
Is this the light at the end of the tunnel and why so many are amazed?
Should we celebrate or is that taking everything too far?
Or should we just go and have a drink at a local bar?
Poor Sue Rodriguez got the blunt decision and died long ago,
She didn’t get death with dignity, where we now can all go,
Let’s hope we’re out of the woods and help the poor and dying,
Ease the pressure and prevent a lot of painful crying.
