Apparently our US exports are taking a big hit,
Add that to the lineup at the border and it can hurt a bit,
Then add security but US prices are cheaper than ours,
And our dollar is high now and their mall stores are open long hours.
We have to get together with the US and figure this out,
It involves terrorists, immigration, national pride and jobs throughout,
The pipeline of guns, drugs and contraband cigarettes should be plugged,
High bureaucrats and security officials act like they've shrugged.
Unfortunately Ottawa mandarins want nothing to change,
We don't have referendums so that this could be rearranged,
Where the religion of political correctness is strong,
Entrenched bureaucrats look around and can't see that something is wrong.
