Compulsory voting would ensure a good turnout,
Because less than half voting, sounds like democratic burnout,
As media moguls announce the numbers but no one cares,
Politicians are too busy with in-party affairs.
But candidates would then represent the majority,
Not some well organized religious or party minority,
But this is not a subject discussed or mentioned in the media,
Hardly ever even mentioned in the encyclopedia.
Our appointed aristocrats want everything to stay the same,
Say that twenty dollars added taxes for not voting might inflame,
But blank votes could ensure that those who refuse to vote are free,
To scream about Charter Rights and human rights with glee.
