We have no referendums or proportional equalization,
And our elected party politicians don’t want consultation,
They want nothing to do with assisted suicide or you,
They have been advised by their party what they can or cannot do.
We have no plebiscites or binding referendums like the Swiss,
You have little or no access to information because they are remiss,
They never mention the dead babies in the abortion clinics,
Some subjects are completely forbidden by these cynics.
Therefore death-with-dignity is probably a mortal sin,
So completely forbidden, they don’t know where to begin,
Sue Rodriguez got the word while dying with Lou Gehrig’s disease,
The Ottawa establishment should do something to appease.
