If we had death with dignity, I could pick an easy way out,

Unfortunately our appointed aristocrats have their doubts,

And our politicians are in Ottawa and don’t know what to do,

They are so politically correct and obedient but who knew?

And all organized religions are completely opposed,

They only want their religious ideas accepted or imposed,

And binding referendums is something else they oppose,

Never mentioned in the media so nothing is disclosed.

They have it in Washington, Oregon and soon in Vermont,

Without referendums; they don’t know or care what we want,

We can change our constitution but nobody knows how,

But we do have abortion clinics and insite clinics now.

Media moguls avoid disturbing the status quo,

Therefore no set-date elections because this we cannot know,

And no binding referendums because that might interfere,

Hidden events in distant Ottawa will never be quite clear.

How come we’ve never had one nuclear submarine?

Maybe we don’t want to go under our ice and not be seen,

Maybe they’re far too complicated for us to learn to drive,

Maybe they’re too expensive for us to buy borrow or take a dive.

Why is capital punishment never spoken or written about?

Why can’t we express our feelings about this and our doubts?

We know that Canada has gone completely multicultural mad,

Then add politically correct which some think, is quite sad.

Why can’t we just write a new law and change things around?

Immigrants should learn English or French and not in their own ghost town.

Why is this so difficult to figure out where judges rule?

Where political parties and politicians behave like fools.

Our present system seems like a religion that cannot be changed?

So our media moguls and aristocrats want nothing rearranged,

But we have to realize that changes are coming down the road,

So election days should be a holidays to change all the board.

Religions can be a uniting or disintegrating factor,

Pulling in different directions with the strength of a tractor,

Add to that, the abortion clinics will certainly bring change,

And it may not be what our aristocrats had arranged.

We can control change by binding referendums every four years,

Although this will trigger our appointed aristocrats to have fears,

Because they know that their arrangements may be rearrange,

If you’re lucky enough to live long enough, you’ll know it’s not strange.

MESSAGE FOR CANADIANS

We should change and therefore we should change the constitution.

1. Only for Canadians.

2. Compulsory voting or twenty-dollar fine at tax time.

3. Set-date elections every four years on the fourth Saturday in June.

4. Binding referendums to be voted on during this same process.

5. Canadians also elect MPs, senators, Supreme Court judges and Governor Generals during this same process.

6. Canadians need to discuss death with dignity, capital punishment and abortion clinics, to be voted on in a referendum.

7. The complete Constitution issue to be open for discussion every fourth year prior to the election for additions or subtractions.

8. Persons to be deported should be deported immediately or as soon as possible.

Why are we denied so many good democratic stuff?

Did some high up politician or appointee say we had enough?

Why can't we have binding referendums like the Swiss

Can I even ask questions like this or am I being remiss?

Should I apologize for thinking we should have propositions

Would the appointees look at me with some suspicions

Could we have proportional representation and a plebiscite?

Is that thinking too far over to the plight of the right?

Could we have set-date elections or is that against some rule

Every four years or would they look at this as cruel?

Should senators, judges and Governor Generals be elected?

Could it come to pass that our system might be corrected?

         They called it a triumph of science over ideology,

Their Insite clinic for drug addicts and their methodology,

As they pump out their criminal propaganda every day,

And with their appointee Supreme Court decision, all the way.

Lawyers appointed to the Supreme Court from the secret list,

We didn’t elect them, don’t even know them but still they insist,

Isolated Supreme Court making decisions in the sky,

Autocrat aristocrats that can’t be questioned or asked why.

The Insite decision was a slap in the face for our politicians,

They were trying to close it down because of the criminal conditions,

And the Supreme Court jumped in and said it couldn’t be done,

What will happen if the drug addicts all want to carry guns?
