Binding referendums could solve our electoral problems,
Long before our politicians get stationed in the Commons,
But our establishment already know what this could cause,
They could loose their appointed political positions just because.
Therefore the idea of binding referendums is banned,
Though never mentioned or spoken so therefore this is grand,
So subjects they avoid would be brought up for discussion,
Not swept under the rug for fear of a real repercussion.
Where death with dignity is banned and therefore never mentioned,
Though they have it in Quebec but it could still cause tension,
Because other provincial politicians are kept in the dark,
No death with dignity for you so just take a walk in the park.
