Only those who live in Quebec are allowed referendums now,
They also have death with dignity though we might wonder how,
They have far more rights than us and we may also wonder why,
Are we being punished and without death with dignity; can we die?
So don't think about this because our establishment does care,
Just don't try to complain or phone them or e-mail them; don't you dare!
Just lie there quietly but don't think about your eventual death,
Because you can't have death with dignity on your last breath.
Maybe we should learn French like those in Quebec, to get ahead,
And when that time comes; have binding referendums widespread,
From coast to coast to coast; we wouldn't feel so locked down,
As though we could control our political stuff, like a small town.
