The establishment in Ottawa and Toronto are opposed,
To doctor assisted death and why is that do you suppose?
They also oppose binding referendums so put that out of your head,
Listen to them in Parliament as they talk about what they said.
Where doctor assisted death is never talked or whispered about,
There are other more important things that they want to shout,
So go back to bed and pay no attention to what is going on
Death with dignity is not on schedule so have another yawn
Death with dignity is like prohibition for those who needed a drink,
Your doctor can't help you and no one cares much about what you think,
Death may not be on your schedule now, but eventually it will,
As you look around in pain and no sign of a magic pill.
