We need compulsory elections every four years or be fined,
Twenty dollars on the next tax return for those disinclined,
We should have binding referendums so we the people are in charge,
Not political appointees looking down by and large.
We should have death with dignity for those sick and dying in pain,
Can’t be told by the appointees that our pleas are in vain,
Supreme court judges should be elected for a period of ten years.
And their past decisions can be changed quickly and without fears.
We should have proportional representation everywhere,
Not according to tribes or languages and bent here and there,
Senators should or may be elected till the next election,
Or maybe delete the Senate completely for our protection.
We need to have a constitutional meeting to decide this,
Especially binding referendums just like the Swiss,
But where do we find a politician so inclined with guts?
Someone more intelligent than the usual klutz.
