Appointees May 20th, 2012

Appointed aristocrats from very secret political lists,
In our so-called democracy; how come this system exists?
Dressed up like Santa Clause or bishops, like they got the nod from
god,
No one even questions this system, which makes it twice as odd.
Appointees can stay in that position till they’re seventy-five,
Their pompous decisions can’t be questioned while we’re still alive,
They gave us abortion clinics and denied Sue Rodriguez her death,
Though she had Lou Gehrig’s disease in pain and near her last breath.
No one can ridicule our secret list appointee system of rules,
Our appointed establishment might look down on those fools,
But we should have a system of people input in high places,
Maybe binding referendums like the Swiss in certain cases.
