OTTAWA

Now
that the Conservatives are in Ottawa, we need to change,
They
are the only chance we have, because the others wont arrange,
We
need binding referendums and death with dignity now,
Not
another twenty years, waiting for the Supreme Court to allow.
The
Americans in Oregon and Washington have it already.
We
could too but the Supreme Court thinks we’re not ready,
At
least that’s what they said to Sue Rodriguez when she tried to die,
She
was already dying from painful Lou Gehrig’s disease; so why.
Why
can’t I pick the date and time and place, I want to die?
Get
my large family and friends around me and say good-bye,
Our
friends in Ottawa should realize that this is all new,
If
we had binding referendums, we could tell them what to do.
