CAN WE FIX THE CHARTER? … June 3rd, 2013

We seem to be having political scandals by the score,
At all levels of government and every day we get more,
We have no recall or referendums and we don’t know what to do,
You can make all the suggestions but no one will listen to you.
We need recall and referendums in the Constitution,
And a simple system to initiate this revolution,
This could counteract the frequent and weekly scandals,
And even slow down the media mogul maggot vandals.
We don’t need Senate leadership -- appointees on the gravy train,
Till they are seventy five and never had even one campaign,
Are they saints or something because it seems, they can’t do no wrong,
We can’t fix the Constitution and we have to get along.
