APPOINTED SENATE … June 18th, 2013
BY
Our appointed senators compare to cardinals in a red chamber,
Set for life where nothing can change and definately no strangers,
No need to worry about an election ever or any time soon,
The list of entitlements is enough to make anyone swoon.
And when there’s a scandal because of fiddling with the books,
Nobody can be listed or pointed out as a crook,
Because the place is sacred; it’s like walking on holy ground,
Even journalists have to be careful because they can’t horse around.
Senators had to be connected before they got in the door,
There’s no need to make a speech, nod their heads or even roar,
I don’t know how they got the appointments and neither do you,
If I did, I’d go and get one, and wave all normal people adieu.
