Why so many odd politicians and why half Canadians vote?
Can’t vote for an appointed senator so are we held by the throat?
Why do party politicians seem to have sold their souls?
Why no DWD as the Ottawa elites just play their role?
Where binding referendums and inquiries are all banned,
And nothing is allowed to change or improve in this great land,
Four US states and half of Europe have DWD now,
But those opposed in Canada always suceed somehow.
The various religions and appointed judges all oppose,
They don’t want any changes to the system and why do you suppose?
The Ottawa aristocrats want things to stay as they are,
And arranging death with dignity, they say, is going too far.
