Is it written in Trudeau's Charter about an election next year?
And we don't have binding referendums so we can't change a thing,
So listen to the radio, watch TV or wait for the phone to ring.
It could be a rumour or the real thing about this election next year?
Though no one knows for sure, the time or the date as far as we can hear,
But death with dignity cannot be approved because its against the law,
No doctor will assist right now because it might be a legal flaw.
When it comes time for me to die; I want a doctor-assisted death,
But its illegal now and no one knows what changes we might get,
Folk have already gone to Switzerland to die peacefully without pain,
Unfortunately our politicians look at this with disdain.
