Is the party or the upper echelon getting advice on this matter?
Or is it the religious crowd from whom they get the constant natter?
Euthanasia has been called suicide, therefore it's a mortal sin,
So it's banned and therefore we the people cannot win.
I want to avoid dying and growing old for as long as I can,
Some people have been trying this since time began,
And doctor assisted death could let me die in peace you could bet,
But for some strange reason I can't have that type of death.
If we had binding referendums like the Swiss; we could change,
Doctor assisted death could then be arranged,
But we don't have the politicians who know how,
They belong to a party and wouldn't want to start a row.
