DOCTOR ASSISTANCE AND YOUR DEATH JAN 23RD, 2015

Five US states have death with dignity but here in Canada, it's banned,
The upper echelon in Ottawa seem to think that this is grand,
Only Switzerland and five US states, allow it to be used,
The vast majority of Canadians are not amused.
We got High Court legal instructions, that this was the way it should be,
Though poor Sue Rodriguez with ALS disease did not agree,
So if and when I die; I would like to do it in my sleep,
Someone to notice the next day, that I am just a dead heap.
So the subject of doctor assisted death is avoided by most,
Because they consider the subject probably illegal and gross,
But the religious holy faithful crowd don't seem to mind,
Though the pain is allowed and to heaven you'll be assigned.
