Supreme Court appointees are very secretly selected,

The secret list of appointees is vigorously protected,

Then these appointees run the country – not the politicians,

So less than half Canadians vote because of these conditions.

They allowed the Insite drug-addict clinic to operate,

The Feds tried to close it but they wouldn’t cooperate,

A graphic illustration of who really runs this land,

And Canadians who seldom vote are not in command.

Appointees with their own hidden hierarchy very far away,

Aristocrat secret society for which your taxes pay,

Up in Ottawa in big buildings, deep in bureaucrat land,

If you go there, you will probably find that you are banned.

Our appointed Supreme Court seems to be even higher than god,

Dressed in red, politically correct and ultra mod

Government tried to shut down the Insite clinic and was denied,

We have no referendums so we too are not allowed to decide.

But then it gets worse because we can’t talk back or point the finger,

That would be disrespectful so move on and don’t linger,

We are allowed to watch but cannot participate in events,

So less than half of us vote for our political ladies and gents.

We can’t decide when, where or if we will have an election,

We don’t know and we don’t care and we can’t make an objection,

While every refugee in the world is enroute to claim his rights,

While our appointed aristocrats have gone and turned out the lights.

Death with dignity is a subject many people like to avoid,

Some politicians even act as though they’re truly annoyed,

Are we too politically correct to talk about this?

Some European countries have it, including the Swiss,

But the Swiss have binding referendums that we’re not allowed,

Therefore our politicians often act as though they were cowed,

They are all party politicians have to obey and behave,

And we can’t change the system because no one is that brave.

Perhaps those politicians think that they will never die,

And they will live forever and nothing will change up in the sky,

Therefore there is no need to discuss their eventual death,

And they will never have unbearable pain before their last breath.

Our politicians appoint our Supreme Court judges and what’s wrong?

From very secretive lists and despite this we have to go along,

We are not allowed to change the system and that means forever,

I don’t think their Insite drug-addict clinic decision was clever.

We’re allowed to look from a distance but can’t interfere,

One horror story after another which can add lots of fear,

The authority of this little group is hard to believe,

Appointees rule Canada and we can’t show that we are peeved.

It’s the reason why less than half Canadians bother to vote,

Their politicians don’t run the country -- they’re on remote,

They tried to close down the Insite clinic but the judges refused,

Who’s running this country and why are drug addicts so amused?

They have a study that suggests that injection sites would be great,

Therefore Toronto should have them and there’s no need for debate,

Where drug addicts can take their illegal drugs and inject,

And the cops or the politicians can’t even go and inspect.

The Federal Government could not shut down the Vancouver clinic,

One day soon, they’ll have one in Toronto though you may be a cynic,

Where the drug addicts will buy their illegal drugs on the street,

When the Feds can’t close it down there’s no reason to be discreet.

The Federal Government just took their legal slap in the face,

From their appointed Supreme Court and no mention of disgrace,

Then the criminal drug addicts and their friends all rejoiced and sang,

If the Feds can’t close it down; are we at the mercy of this gang?

This is, no doubt, a constitutional issue in disguise,

Involving Feds, the appointed judges and addicts supplies,

Because some day soon, you may have an Insite clinic nextdoor,

You could ask: Who runs this outfit and you may have to ignore.

They called it a triumph of science over ideology,

Their Insite clinic for drug addicts and their methodology,

As they pump out their criminal propaganda every day,

Did the Supreme Court cross over to their side and betray?

Why should they get free clean needles to do their illegal drugs?

That they just bought down the street from illegal drug dealing thugs,

We did not elect the Supreme Court judges that made these decisions,

Can we change things around and make some appointee revisions?

Is this the same group that gave us abortion clinics everywhere?

And refused death with dignity for those dying in pain they can’t bear,

Should we have binding referendums in case they go too far?

  Maybe they already have and it’s much more than bizarre.
