HOW
DO WE GET OUR OWN TEA PARTY? Feb 4th,
2010

I can’t tell that woman not to use
chemicals on her face,
It doesn’t look good; in fact it
looks a bit of a disgrace,
I can’t tell those politicians that
they need to make a noise,
Canadian politically correct
discretion could destroy.
It’s obvious we need to change but
which way do we go?
Less than half of us vote and
referendums are a game show,
Media moguls and secretly appointed
judges rule,
These are our modern aristocracy
and we are the poor fools.
And why, pray tell, are we so
politically correct?
How do we get our own tea party to
put changes into effect?
Why are we so docile as if nothing
can ever change?
Here’s your big chance, Stephen,
because you could arrange.
We need binding referendums and
death with dignity please,
We should elect our Supreme Court
judges – no secret-list squeeze,
Trudeau’s Charter changed just for
Canadians – not the globe,
So sanctimonious that no one would
dare make a probe.
