NO NEED FOR APPOINTEES

If we had binding referendums and recall we’d have it made,
Our politicians and appointees reluctant to betray,
Criminals would stay in jail till their whole sentence is served,
No need for lawyers looking for time off that is not deserved.
No need for secret-appointee lists for those up next,
It would all be done by open elections and nothing complex,
And those who don’t live up to their expectations could be recalled,
No need for Canadians to be shocked and appalled.
But our establishment is totally opposed to any change,
And absolutely nothing will ever be rearranged,
Like death with dignity arrangements – illegal and banned,
They call it complicated but most Canadians don’t understand.
