YOU CAN’T DIE ON SCHEDULE

Canadians are forbidden to die on schedule by law,
Because of the way they treated Sue Rodriguez –
awful raw,
Couldn’t arrange for her death, though she had Lou
Gehrig’s disease,
They wouldn’t let her die, no matter how many
times she said please.
Add that to gutless political leadership and we
were there,
As though this subject is forbidden so please
don’t die and take care,
Politicians view this and referendums as a can of
worms,
To be avoided at all costs as their actions
confirm.
And of course, every priest and religious nut is
opposed,
You can’t think outside the square and none of
this can be exposed,
Can’t vote for a senator or judge and no mandatory
votes,
Someone up there must look down on us as just a
herd of goats.
