Could our appointed Senate gave us death with dignity?
Or will they continue doing nothing dismally?
Quebec now has medically assisted death but we don't,
Different provinces, different laws, and politicians won't.
Ontario having an election soon but no one mentioned this,
We can't have medically assisted death like Oregon or the Swiss,
Just another hidden reason why so few people bother to vote,
Is it a provincial issue and should politicians take note?
Quebec seems to have solved this issue with litigation,
This should not be so difficult in an ordinary nation,
Could we all turn this into a provincial issue and go to sleep?
Or is there someone pulling strings that tend to give me the creeps?
