WHY DO THEY REFUSE? … JULY 7TH, 2014

Medically assisted death has been banned by those in power,
Although this might make many sick people feel quite sour,
And we only have elections maybe every five years,
And those who are dying in severe pain, have certain fears.
Therefore we can't change our politicians often enough,
We can't get it through their heads that we need changes and soon,
And we don't want to have to wait forever till the next blue moon.
This subject must be banned in parliament and in other high places,
Why can't Canadians bring these changes about?
Why do we have politicians who refuse and are never in doubt?
