We seem to be pretty lucky with our prime minister for now,
Let’s hope it continues for years or as much as time will allow,
And he doesn't turn into something like another Joe Clark,
Maybe you don’t remember those two hundred days in the dark.
So Stephen, think about our various appointed aristocrats,
Hidden in various high-up Ottawa habitats,
They have no connection with Canadians down on the ground,
Could you arrange to have them elected and how does that sound?
Unelected appointees that allowed abortions here and there,
But no death with dignity amid all the official health care,
I realize you are doing your best to improve this great land,
Try to change some things and let me know if you need a hand.
