DON’T YOU DARE COMPLAIN

We don’t have set-date
elections and no one complains out loud,
We don’t have death
with dignity and churchgoers feel proud,
We have Trudeau’s
Charter of Rights for “EVERYONE” on the globe,
And “EVERYONE” is
claiming their rights as legal-aid lawyers probe.
We don’t have
compulsory voting so less than half of us vote,
Politicians seem to
love this as they go to Ottawa and gloat,
High Court guys/girls
are appointed from a very secret list,
They must be
aristocrats because you and I can’t enlist.
We have parole boards
that let too many criminals out of jail,
Don’t bother to enquire
why or even send an e-mail,
We don’t have
proportional representation so don’t ask,
Is that someone on bail
I see, with a gun, wearing a mask?
