Apparently the church did not have to abide by common law,
And cardinals and Vatican elites did not think this was a flaw,
They used canon law so pedophiles priests were not taken away,
So the pedophiles could continue their pedophile crimes and stay.
This type of news was hidden from the public for many years,
Is it still hidden from the public, which could add to our fears?
Or was it that the news itself that was bent in a certain direction?
And media moguls censored this stuff for their own protection.
This phenomenon of pedophile priests might hurt the church more,
This type of pedophile conduct might shut the cathedral door,
Not the same cathedral door where Martin Luther wrote his stuff,
But the same terrible bad feelings which might be enough.
