THE VALUE OF OUR MONEY  … FEB 13TH, 2014
BY
JAMES BREDIN

If the value of the loonie goes down to a dime,
And our politicians don’t think that this is a crime,
And they’re busy travelling the world, here and there,
These are Ottawa aristocrats, so they don’t have to care?

But as the value of the loonie goes down; the price of stuff goes up,
And we get poorer and hungrier and our lives may get rough,
Seems that two places, our politicians are forbidden to go,
That’s death-with-dignity and the value of the loonie -- our dough.

How do we get their attention in this important affair?
If we can’t; should we go to church and maybe say a prayer?
Maybe god will listen and the value of the loonie will come back up,
Why do I get the feeling that this is not enough?
