Cancel Parole Boards 33

If the parole boards and cop killers meet yearly, they might be friends,
Maybe that's the reason they want to let cop killers free from the pens,
It should be obvious that there is something wrong with these trends,
But no politician seems able or willing to make amends.

Parole board regulations are treated like words from on high,
Therefore their commands and decisions forever apply,
No one would dare say or utter that they might have made a mistake,
I appologize for telling you this; am I keeping you awake?

So the criminal cop killers will be walking our streets,
And there's no telling who you or your relatives might meet,
And unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way out of this,
We'll have to pretend that the parole board is not remiss.
