Could we elect senators and the Supreme Court every five years?
Compulsory voting and binding referendums without fears?
How do we keep criminal cop killers in jail for life?
Have the human rights crowd taken over and added to our strife?

Could we rewrite Trudeau's Charter or Rights just for us?
Instead of for "Everyone" in the world as they kick up a fuss?
And then add in "binding referendums" just like the Swiss,
Finally get the Charter right and no need to reminisce.

But how do we get those entrenched bureaucracies on side?
We are merely numbers now and they are the ones who decide,
The parole boards like the power of letting prisoners out of jail,
They're an established hierarchy and want to stay and prevail.
