Why can’t we have capital
punishment -- because of the pain?
It seems we live in a politically
correct domain,
Where politicians with guts are
unknown or extremely rare,
And
secretly appointed High Court judges just don’t care.
So how do we get out from under
their dominant control?
Where few go to jail and the others
are mostly on parole,
Where the papers list the murders
almost every week after week,
Where the soft judges and the
system never get any critique.
And add legal aid to that and it
seems they have a legal right,
All the way to the Supreme Court in
their murder-legal-fight,
It doesn’t cost them a single penny
but it costs us a lot,
Legal aid lawyers don’t come cheap
and we are the ones who get caught.
