WHAT DO WE NEED? MAR 23RD, 2012

We live in the illusion that in Ottawa they care,
But with our optional voting system, we don’t have a
prayer,
And with no referendums or death with dignity we should
beware,
We travel along completely unconcerned and unaware.
I’m sitting here trying to figure out how to improve
this land,
How to get free from tax-and-spend politicians and feel
grand,
We need compulsive voting and referendums and we have to
change,
Unfortunately bureaucrats think that these ideas are
strange.
How do we get someone to change the constitution soon?
We need compulsory voting or be fined – we are not a
commune,
We need binding referendums to keep politicians in check,
And death with dignity or we might turn into a wreck.
