ILLEGAL MARIJUANA

Canadians, Mexicans and Americans should do it now,
Radical approach to a serious drug problem somehow,
I realize that this idea may be far ahead of its time,
And pompous politicians may not want to fall in line.



We have to legalize illegal marijuana and do it soon,
It can be grown to give tobacco farmers an opportune,
This could end the house grow ups and border problems, raging now,
Clear a lot of courtroom space too if we can figure out how.



We could meet in some small town somewhere off the beaten track,
Away from the pompous and religious media flak,
Set up national dates and times and the when and the where and how,
And figure out our next move as we go on from there somehow.
