I’m sitting here thinking about where and when I will die,
It can’t be arranged so I may not have time to say good-bye,
Our appointed Supreme Court banned death with dignity long ago,
Your death too can’t be planned and this is not some TV game show.
Our politicians had nothing to do with this death decision,
Therefore they avoided all feedback and any supervision,
Of course they had the backing of all friendly religious nuts,
Therefore they were politically correct but they had no guts.
Who gave the Supreme Court, options on the end of my life?
And soon enough the end will come, god forbid it’s full of strife,
Because we will all die sooner or later and that can’t change.
But death with dignity is forbidden and can’t be arranged.
