American and Canadian cultures are about the same,
This could be good or bad but politicians don’t know who to blame,
And the lineup at the border involves a lot of delays,
Surely there must be better, faster and more efficient ways.
I’m not saying that we should amalgamate or stuff like that,
But when there is a border problem someone should go to bat,
It’s like the old lady at the head of the lineup at the cashier,
Shaky hands counting pennies and nothing is very clear.
I know that the border patrol have to justify their existence,
And certain people at the border should not have admittance,
People who cross the border a lot should have a certain card,
Swipe it with fingerprints and you are through and you cannot be barred.
