THE CHURCH AND THE LAW

Apparently the church
did not have to abide by common law,
And cardinals and Vatican
elites did not think of this as a flaw,
Because the Vatican canon legal system was closer to god,
Therefore their legal system was above ours and this was not odd.
And there was no need
to even discuss this with common folk,
They might not show
enough respect as they stood there and smoked,
Therefore pedophile
priests had to be treated with Cannon Law,
Moved to another parish
and this could not be viewed as a flaw.
And this
pedophile-priest scandal should be swept under the rug,
So that the bishops and
cardinals could just give a shrug,
And those who have left
the church better return back soon,
Or their sins will not
be forgiven and they’ll go to hell and ruin.
