The culture of secrecy would put the Mafia
to shame,
Dressed
in effeminate style vestments where no one takes the blame,
Where the sex scandal of pedophile priests
is never discussed,
Because it might interfere with the overwhelming trust.
Because the question remains; whether or not they’ve all been
caught?
Or is this all one well and eternally delayed, hidden
plot?
And those billion-dollar lawsuits are all paid with parish
cash,
Because the faithful are faithful and there is no parish
backlash.
And Pope Ratzinger just retired because he couldn’t take
the heat,
Cardinals will soon elect one of their own to take his
seat,
But still no one has figured out how many
pedophiles were hidden,
Pompous criminal priests
whose sins were probably forgiven.
