Many
of my old friends and companions are now long dead,
It’s
in my future too but I’d rather do something else instead,
And it
can’t be planned because that’s against the national law,
This
is serious legal stuff – not something you can guffaw.
We
need binding referendums so that we can at least arrange,
We need compulsory voting
to bring about this change,
The
bureaucrats and aristocrats have all our power seized,
We
need to let the politicians know that we are not pleased.
Someone
should organize an all-party e-mail campaign,
So
that we can let politicians know that we are in great pain,
A
simple e-mail like, “We need binding referendums now.”
“And
if you want to continue in office, this is how.”
