Though death with dignity and binding
referendums denied,
And we cannot question that maybe
we’re being taken for a ride,
Because we the people are ignored as
though we don’t exist,
Because Ottawa bureaucrat aristocrats
always persist.
How dare you suggest that maybe government
stuff should change,
Have you no honor or pride because
change cannot be arranged,
Because death with dignity and
binding referendums are forbidden,
And this poem of yours on the
Internet, will have to stay hidden.
How did the State of Oregon and
Washington get death with dignity?
Will we forever have to accept our
Supreme Court indignity?
Those who denied Sue Rodriguez with
Lou Gehrig’s disease, her out,
They gave us a holocaust of aborted
babies to think about.
