WE NEED A MARGARET THATCHER

Why is it so difficult for
Canadians to change the laws?
Party politicians are busy
in committee moving their jaws,
They have their own party
agendas to consider and not yours,
And after that they have to
go on various foreign tours.
Referendums and death with
dignity are not on their agendas,
It never was and will never
be part of their propaganda,
Banned by Supreme Court and
other appointed aristocrats,
It's only the Americans who
are allowed Democrats.
We need a Margaret Thatcher
or a Ronald Reagan and soon,
Then death with dignity and
referendums by next new moon,
We need compulsory
voting or a fifty-dollar fine at tax time,
Where the social numbers of
those who voted are underlined.
