We seem to be pretty lucky with our prime minister for now,
Let’s hope it continues as much as time will allow,
Let's hope he knows that eventually his time will run out,
I just hope that someone will tell him what this is about.
Our Supreme Court hidden agenda doesn’t make much sense,
It banned assisted suicide and referendums will not commence,
These appointees from an extremely secret hidden list,
To be High Court judges dressed in red; is there something I missed?
Told Sue Rodriguez with Lou Gehrig's disease that she could die in pain,
A sign that we the ordinary people are locked down in chains,
Isolated Ottawa aristocrats completely out of touch,
Dressed in red like pompous bishops preaching in a church.
Where binding referendums are not only banned but a sin,
Where less than half Canadians bother to vote but we pretend,
And those of us who want to change the Constitution cannot win,
Okay, Stephen, here's your chance, please show us where to begin.
