DICTATORS  … JAN 29TH, 2014
BY
JAMES BREDIN

Most dictators like uniforms with lots of gold braid on their hats,
Chests covered with colorful ribbons and medals of gold and brass,
And those who question their authority could be quickly dead,
By a bent judicial system or a bullet in the head.

It’s what power can do to a man’s brain without democracy,
He can make aristocracy, bureaucracy from hypocrisy,
And they better obey or pretend to obey to stay alive,
And there is no shortage of those who keep trying to survive.

Usually countries locked into a cultish religion or scheme,
Without democracy; it could be part history or his dream,
We’re lucky in that they are mostly far away in the distance,
Because they are trouble all around and not much coexistence.
