Should I apologise for being so irreverent and old?
With no respect for party politicians locked in their mould,
Giving themselves presentations at meetings here and there,
Nothing much changes and they have nothing to declare.
And its all done in Ottawa so completely out of view,
No binding referendums or death with dignity for you,
Only Justin Trudeau had the guts to try Senate Reform,
While its obvious that the whole place is deformed.
And Senate scandals can happen and be swept under the rug,
They might, if they are even concerned; give a very slight shrug,
Because Senate scandals are indirectly party-connected
So therefore, appointees in the Senate are party-protected
